| Jon celebrated his birthday this year with just some of the family. I guess we know when our kids are getting older & only two of the five are around to help us celebrate his birthday! Heidi & Mallory were at a football game and Brianna was at BYU. So just the boys & I helped him celebrate his birthday. We took him out to dinner & then came home to open presents & have cake. It was a little bit of a somber day for us, as it was the first birthday Jon celebrated without his Dad. He & his Dad share the same birthday and this was a hard year for that. We still think of Grandpa each & everyday. It was sad to not have him here celebrating like in years past with us! |
