Memorial Day

We spent Memorial Day in Island Park and on our way home we stopped in Idaho Falls to go and take flowers to some of the graves. It was nice to take our kids and telling them a little bit about some of the ancestors that they didn't know.

1st Pinewood Derby

Caleb was so excited to turn 8 so he could make a car for the pinewood derby. I don't know how much he helped with the car but he did do a little bit on it. It was fun to watch all the cars and learn what we need
to do for next year.

Thanks Jon for the long hours you spent making and perfecting the car!

Jack's Preschool Graduation

Jack graduated from preschool today. Wow! What a sad day for me. It is fun to see your kids growing up but hard at the same time. He is so excited to go to Kindergarten next year and ride the bus. He has loved preschool and all the things that he has learned.

Brianna's Sprint Triathlon

Brianna decided a few months ago that she wanted to try and do a sprint triathlon. Her school was having one so so started training for a few months. She worked hard preparing and was able to accomplish her goal.

Brianna & our neighbor Tara Goldman getting ready to start the triathlon

We bought Brianna a rode bike and she only was able to go out and use it a couple of times before the actual race so she was a little nervous! She did great!

Way to go Brianna! We are proud of you for setting a goal and finishing it!

Spring Piano Recital

Mallory and Heidi had their piano recital and did a great job. I'm so thankful to have kids who love to play the piano and who I don't have to beg to practice. They love to just sit down and play anytime of the day. Caleb also started piano this year and has worked hard and is doing great on all his songs. Brianna has been teaching him, so he didn't have a recital.

3rd Year for the Greenville Mile

Mallory made her school mile race for the 3rd year in a row. She has been working hard to train and get faster. They choose the fastest 3 girls in each class and then they all race at the end of the school year. We are proud of her and the hard work she put forth to make it again.

Happy 8th Birthday Caleb

We celebrated Caleb's birthday a few days early since Jon & I were in Moab for his actual birthday. The girls helped him celebrate on his real birthday, so he
got two special days!

Caleb wanted to go to Texas Roadhouse for his birthday dinner, I think because he got to sit on the saddle!

Couples Moab Trip

Jon & I took a weekend and went with five other couples to Moab for a few days. This is the second year we have done this and we had a great time. We took our
road & mountain bikes and did a little of both.

Arches National Park

Here is most of the group getting ready for a mountain bike ride on porcupine. This is a ride that I chose not to do since it was a little to difficult for me! I was glad I made that decision when Jon came back and he was pretty beat up. He came away from the ride this day with a few cracked ribs and is still recovering!
He is fifth from the left.

The last day we were there we did an easier ride that I could go and do. Jon was more than willing to go with me this day since he was having a hard time moving because of his ribs!

Planting our Garden

We have had such a wet spring that we got a late start to planting our garden. We did hurry one night before it start storming and all of us helped plant a few of the boxes.

Mallory & Heidi helping plant the peas. Not too many have come up so I don't know what they did with the seeds we gave them!

Jack's 5th Birthday

Jack had a fun day celebrating Jack's 5th birthday. He wanted to go to McDonalds for lunch so we went and he ate and played in the playset. Grandma & Grandpa Robison drove down and spent the night celebrating with us. Jack loved all the gifts and phone calls he received. Jack being our different child wanted leftovers for dinner! We finally talked him out of that and we had sourdough pancakes instead.

Heidi's Freshman Track Year

Heidi decided she wanted to do track this spring. It is always interesting to try a sport you haven't done but she did great. Each day she came home from practice and she had tried something different. She really didn't know what she enjoyed so she tried everything!
